All four dogs are the inspiration of our business and why we care so much about our products. The pet models on our website are our pets and happily show off our products and accessories for us. Here is a little about our family pets:

 We have a 90lbs male German Shepherd named Diesel who is 2 years old. He loves to play with his  favorite ball and frizbee with his doggie friends. He is a big part of Pikoda because he tests all  our products for durability and strength. Every collar and leash that we make - no matter what breed  its for - is made to stand up to Diesel. In other words, regardless of the size dog you have your  Pikoda collar or leash is made to withstand Diesel when he's having a "bad" day. Although he  receives constant training and leadership, occasionally he can be a butthead! We use a heavy duty 100% polyester thread to sew on our collar and leash hardware which is a different thread than our embroidery threads. Piper is our 4 year old rescue dog that we adopted from a local rescue/shelter. We will never know her true breed mix but we suspect she's a german shepherd mix of some kind - possibly mixed with pit or bully breed which is common for dogs rescued in the south. She battled all kinds of health issues at such a young age and had a rough start in life. However, we saved her and gave her a life of luxury that she deserves. Piper spends her days relaxing on the couch and being the princess that she is. She will be forever greatful to us and is the best dog.   

We also have a female Belgian Shepherd Groenendael named Kohlee who is 3 years old. She is solid black like coal and has the most beautiful silky coat. She lives to catch the ball and frisbee with her intense ball drive. Kohlee doesn't have the word "tired" in her vocabulary. She is always happy and is such a sweet girl. She loves to play with Diesel and the two of them are partners in crime! We spend hours watching them play and swim together.

 Finally, we have Dakota who is 3 years old and is actually Piper's sister. They are from the same rescue.  Thankfully, the rescue was able to take ownership of Piper and Dakota's parents from their abusive owners. Dakota is a great dog and has such a wonderful personality. She spends her days keeping us on time so that we don't miss anything. We are alerted when it's time for morning cookies, afternoon walks, dinner time, evening GoGo bones and bedtime. She keeps us laughing and is a joy to have. Diesel and Dakota are inseparable. They enjoy wrestling, chase and sleeping together.
