If you are wondering what size collar to order for your pet please use the following methods.
The easiest method to determine your dog's neck size is to find one of your dog's old collars that fits perfectly (not too snug but tight enough not to slip over their ears). Measure the collar from end to end (including the black buckle!!). This is the exact size of your dog's neck. See illustration below:
Another method is to use a soft tape measure and measure your dog's neck where the collar normally sits. Add 1-2 fingers in between your dog's neck and the tape measure. You want enough room not to choke the dog but tight enough to fit properly. See illustrations 1 and 2 below:
